Teen Volunteerism
Volunteer Center of Southern Nevada offers a number of opportunities that welcome volunteers under the age of 18. Some require a parent to be present, some do not.
If you are between 14 and 18 and wish to volunteer here is the process:
- Set up an account for yourself here on the website. Click here to register your account.
- Download the Permission for Minor Child to Participate and Consent for Medical Treatment form and have your parent or guardian sign it.
- Fax, email, or send the signed forms back to Volunteer Center of Southern Nevada:

- Email - Volunteer@uwsn.org
- Send –1660 E. Flamingo Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89119
- Wait for your confirmation email. Once you've received it
your account will be unlocked and you'll be able to sign
up for any age appropriate projects on this site.
- It can take up to 1 business day to process your form. If you are
interested in signing up for a project immediately please call 702-892-2300
and speak to an available staff member. We do our best to accomodate expedited requests.
- Use our Advanced Search feature to find volunteers projects that are suitable for your age. Click here to get started.
- When you've found a project you want to volunteer at, click SIGN ME UP.
- You'll get a confirmation email telling you exactly where and when to arrive.
- Show up to the volunteering site prepared to have a good time!!!
What if I'm under 14 years of age?
We have projects for you too! But you must be
registered by a parent or guardian.
